Rainbow Rising Alderwood currently has space. Please contact your Site Director and ask how to start today!

Rainbow Rising Alderwood provides onsite before and after school daycare at Alderwood Elementary School. We focus on providing a fun and safe quality program. Our program offers a homework club, daily curriculum, outdoor free play and child-initiated play. Rainbow Rising encourages social and academic skills. We emphasize team building, problem-solving, and communication skills. Aside from school session child care we also provide camps during winter, spring and summer intersession.

Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year will begin on March 18th, 2024. Enrollment is done online on this page at 7:00 am.

Your Site Director will reach out to you via email when your spot is confirmed. If a site is waitlisted, we will reach out to let you know you've been placed on our waitlist.

Hello Rainbow Rising Alderwood, my name is Tania Coyazo and I have been working for Rainbow since September 2015. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a BS in Sociology. I love working with children because they are a lot of fun to be around and they teach me something new every day. In the past five years, I have gotten the chance to work at multiple Rainbow sites as a teacher and then Assistant Director. I am very excited to take on the Director role and provide a safe and fun environment for the kiddos. When I am not working at Rainbow, I enjoy hanging out with my family and my two dogs.

My name is Odalys Guerra and I am beyond thrilled to be your Assistant Director. I’m so lucky to call Alderwood home as I have been at this center since 2019 and I’ve had the privilege of connecting with many families and children throughout my time here. I have a Bachelors of Science in Child and Adolescent Studies with a concentration in elementary school settings. I have acquired various skills during my educational journey. Allowing me to apply these skills at Alderwood and providing a positive impact in every child’s life. I look forward to creating a safe and fun environment for all the kiddos!
