School-Age Program

Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM

Rainbow Rising Greentree is a before and after school daycare program located on the Greentree Elementary school campus. We provide all day care during winter camp, spring camp, summer camp, and district furlough days. Our program offers a safe and fun environment in which we foster growth physically, emotionally, and cognitively.

Our center strongly believes in promoting quality education through kinesthetic development, social growth, and cooperative learning. We provide a multitude of sub-programs and curriculum to achieve the maximum potential for advancement in all major areas of learning. Our homework assistance and collaborative efforts with school faculty ensure that the children of our program receive consistency and support in their education. Among homework club, we have an excess of clubs and daily activities for the children to participate in. Lesson plan topics include science, math, language arts, cooking, art, and music. Among all activities listed above, our camps also include field trips.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Child and Adolescent Studies from California State University, Fullerton and I am currently pursuing a site supervisory permit through the State of California.  I have worked at Rainbow Rising for 7 years and have been in an administrative role for the past four consecutive years.  My enthusiasm and dedication to child growth and advancement are clear throughout the Rainbow Rising Greentree program.

I have worked at Rainbow Rising for over 8 years.  I have my certificate in Early Childhood Development and continue to take classes at Irvine Valley College to further my education.  I love working with children because they are so much fun to be around.  I enjoy teaching them science, math, art and reading.  My goal is to always make learning fun for them.
