Rainbow Rising Westpark is an after school on-site child care program at Westpark Elementary school. We promote both social and academic skills through a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor play for school-age children. Our program works collaboratively with the school site to develop supportive before and after-school activities.

We provide an enriching, safe and exciting environment for kids to be themselves and learn to become responsible citizens for the future. We encourage physical, intellectual and social growth through daily curriculum activities ranging from art, science, music, math, cooking, and more.

Rainbow Rising Westpark offers part-time and full-time schedules. We also offer all day camps during our winter, spring and fall breaks, as well as an exhilarating summer program.

Meet The Administrative Director

TPHello Rainbow Families,
My name is Tejal Patel and I have been a Director at Rainbow Rising for over ten years. I have a BA in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Cal State Long Beach while also credentialed through the state of California to be a Site Supervisor. My two boys Krish and Deven, are my pride and joy. Krish, now seven years old, allows me firsthand experience as a parent in elementary school and afterschool care alike. Throughout my 16 years of working in childcare, I have discovered the perspective of a parent to be invaluable. Peace of mind is gained through trust and my program strives to instill this with every family. I have great passion for my career and my goal is that it shows in the program I run.

Meet The Director in training

TDHello, my name is Tracey Dominguez. I have worked at Rainbow Rising since January 2014 and have recently been given the opportunity as the Director in Training. I have an AA in Behavioral and Social Sciences, as well as a BS in Media Arts. Having grown up with a mom as a teacher, I know first hand the differences that can be made in children’s lives by being a positive role model. This is something I will strive to do as a Director. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband and our playful dog, Richie. I look forward to my journey ahead with Rainbow Rising!

Meet The Assistant Director in training

viwebHello families! My name is Vi Do and I am excited to start my new journey as Westpark’s Assistant Director in Training. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Cal State Fullerton and have been working with children for over three years. Throughout these years, there has never been a dull moment watching each and every child grow physically and cognitively. It has been very rewarding working closely with our families to provide the proper tools required for their development and seeing success out of this teamwork. I look forward to further growing my relationships with all our families!
