Rainbow Rising Alderwood currently has space. Please contact your Site Director and ask how to start today!

Rainbow Rising Alderwood provides onsite before and after school daycare at Alderwood Elementary School. We focus on providing a fun and safe quality program. Our program offers a homework club, daily curriculum, outdoor free play and child-initiated play. Rainbow Rising encourages social and academic skills. We emphasize team building, problem-solving, and communication skills. Aside from school session child care we also provide camps during winter, spring and summer intersession.

If you are interested in enrolling for the current school year, please email us to get on the waitlist.

Completing the interest form does not guarantee a specific enrollment date. Spots in our programs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on program availability. Please review the enrollment guide below before registering for the upcoming school year.

Hello Rainbow Rising friends and families! I am truly honored and excited to be your Director. I began my Rainbow journey in 2018 as a teacher, and it has been a joy ever since. I grew up in Irvine, attending IUSD schools and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Communication Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Working with children has always been my passion, and my goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where every child feels loved, supported, and excited to grow. I look forward to building strong relationships with our families and working together to make our Alderwood community a special place for your children.

Hello Alderwood Families, my name is Cynthia and I am beyond thrilled to be your Assistant Director. I have been with Rainbow Rising since 2020 and have learned so much along the way. I received my BA in Child Development & Family Studies from Long Beach State in the Spring of 24’. In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball and finding new ways to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I am excited for this new opportunity to grow and share a fun and exciting environment with the community. My goal is to build strong connections with families in hopes to be a support when it's needed. I look forward to creating such fun memories with you all!
