Enrollment Information

Rainbow Rising Northwood currently has space. Please contact your Site Director and ask how to start today!

Rainbow Rising Northwood offers educational learning opportunities through both inside and outside play and recognizes that learning occurs during playful experiences. At Northwood, we help our children build on their cognitive competence and problem-solving skills, positive communication skills, and highlight the importance of working well with others.

Our goal is to provide a wide variety of experiences, such as daily developmentally appropriate activities, physical education, academic homework programs, and recreational play in order to promote social, physical, and emotional growth and development. Our teachers work closely with parents and school administration to ensure a positive learning experience through positive reinforcement, patience and understanding. Rainbow also offers all day care during winter, spring, and summer breaks

If you are interested in enrolling for the current school year, please email us to get on the waitlist.

Northwood

Hello Northwood Families, my name is Lauren Solorio and I am excited to be your new Director. I started with Rainbow Rising in 2015 and had the opportunity to experience a few different Rainbow Rising centers. I started as a teacher and have grown through each role leading up to becoming a director. I went to CSUF and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development. My passion has always been to work with children, and guide them into the right path as they grow into respectful and kind individuals. My goal is to create an environment that will be safe and fun at the same time here at Rainbow.

Hello Northwood families, I am excited to step into this new role as Assistant Director here at Northwood Rainbow Rising. I started my Rainbow journey back in 2021 starting as a teacher, moving up to Master Teacher, and now Assistant Director. I hold a bachelor's degree in Art History from Cal State Fullerton which has shaped my passion for creativity and encouraging kids to explore the world in new ways. I have always been passionate about working with kids and am excited to create a caring and inspiring space where every child feels valued and supported.
