About Us
Enrollment Information

Rainbow Rising Eastwood provides an enriching, quality, safe, and fun program for our children where they feel secure and truly cared about. We value each child’s uniqueness and help each child believe that there are no limits to what they can accomplish through positive communication, activities, and patience.  We help our children learn to respect each other and show appreciation for their friends, family, and community to become responsible citizens for the future.

Our program provides a wide variety of recreational & educational experiences for school-age children and recognizes the importance of children having opportunities to learn through playful experiences. Through collaborative efforts with the school site, we develop a supportive and fun curriculum that consists of daily activities in science, arts & crafts, math, music, cooking, and much more.

Our program offers before & after school care, care for school holidays, and extends into Winter, Spring, and Summer Camp, during which we offer exciting weekly field trips!

Due to licensing capacity, Eastwood is unable to enroll additional children at this time. Please sign up on Eastwood's waiting list and you will be contacted when a spot becomes available.

All enrollment is done online via a link on your school's page. Please contact your Site Director if you have any questions.

Janice Luan - Director

My name is Janice Luan and I have been on quite a journey with Rainbow Rising! I started at Rainbow Rising Meadow Park as a teacher in December 2012 and eventually grew to become their Assistant Director. After being at Rainbow Rising Meadow Park all those years, I was given the opportunity to become Interim Director at Rainbow Rising Portola Springs in February 2015, where I got to first-hand experience what it would be like to run a center. After being Interim Director at Rainbow Rising Portola Springs, I moved on to be Assistant Director at Rainbow Rising Northwood for the summer of 2015, a short but memorable experience. In fall of 2015, I became the Director at Greentree before coming over to the opening of Eastwood Rainbow Rising in the Fall of 2017.  I received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Education from UCI. One of my best life experiences was at UCI, where I served preschool children in low-income neighborhoods to help them develop the language and literacy skills to be ready for Kindergarten and set them on a path to close the achievement gap. It has always been my passion to work with children and every day at Rainbow Rising has been not only exciting, but rewarding. I strive to make a positive impact on each and every one of our children’s lives and look forward to seeing their smiles every day at Rainbow.

Mia Adame - Assistant Director in Training

Hello! My name is Mia Adame. I have been with Rainbow Rising for 4 years. I started at Rainbow Rising Northwood in August 2015 as a Teacher’s Aid and grew to become their Master Teacher. In August 2017, I was given the amazing experience of being a part of the opening of Cadence Park Rainbow Rising, before coming over to Eastwood Rainbow Rising as the Assistant Director in Training. Being at multiple different sites, I have learned a lot from all of the different experiences with the children and families. I am currently working on obtaining my degree in Early Childhood Education at Irvine Valley College. During my free time, I love going on nature hikes and going to the beach. I cannot wait to get to know the children and families here at Eastwood Rainbow Rising!
