Rainbow Rising Loma Ridge currently has space students. Please contact your Site Director and ask how to start today!

Rainbow Rising Loma Ridge is an on-site child care program at Loma Ridge Elementary that provides before and after school care. Additionally, we provide care during winter, spring, and summer breaks!

We provide a fun and loving environment for children to be themselves and grow up to be amazing role models. Rainbow Rising Loma Ridge offers fun activities throughout the day that include Cooking, Math, STEAM, Arts & Crafts and so much more! We also provide a time when the children can play, run and enjoy being silly!

Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year will begin on March 18th, 2024. Enrollment is done online via this page at 7:00 am.

Your Site Director will reach out to you via email when your spot is confirmed. If a site is waitlisted, we will reach out to let you know you've been placed on our waitlist.

Hello Rainbow Rising Families and Friends, my name is Jessica Simoncini Winn and it is a pleasure to serve as the Administrative Director at Rainbow Rising Loma Ridge. 2019 marks my 13th year with Rainbow Rising and I could not be more excited to kick off the inaugural year with Rainbow Rising Loma Ridge!! I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education at Arizona State University. I have been a part of IUSD since kindergarten, attending Westpark Elementary, South Lake Middle School and Woodbridge High School. IUSD holds a very special place in my heart.

It is my goal to create an environment at Rainbow in which the children can learn and grow into kind, caring and respectful little humans. I have spent many years dedicated to expanding my knowledge of child growth and socialization. Sharing in the Irvine Child Care Project’s philosophy of providing the highest quality childcare, I look forward to bringing that to Loma Ridge. I am eager to share in this new experience and create fond memories with the Loma Ridge families.

My name is Odalys Peñaloza, and I am honored to be your Assistant Director at Loma Ridge. I started Rainbow Rising in 2019 here at Loma Ridge. While working at Rainbow Rising, I’ve been able to play many parts in the children’s lives. I’ve gotten the pleasure of being their teacher, best friend, lunch buddy, party planner, choreographer, basketball champion and so much more! Some of my favorite things to do in my personal life include going to amusement parks and spending time with friends and family. As the Assistant Director, my goal is to continue to provide our students with a welcoming and supportive environment where they can gain confidence in themselves and grow. It has been such a pleasure being able to build connections with all the students and parents here at Loma Ridge and I can’t wait to continue creating long-lasting memories with you all.
