Tabitha's Blessings

Rainbow Rising Beacon Park, Cadence Park, and Portola Springs combined to support Tabitha's Blessings by having our children create hygiene bags. Between our three schools the children made over 200 bags to donate!

Tabitha's Blessings is devoted to providing food, hygiene products and other supportive services to the homeless and /or those who live at or below the poverty level.

Their vision is to serve all homeless in Orange County with respect, dignity and showing God's love through active service.

Autism Speaks Walk

Our involvement in the Autism Speaks Walk creates and helps promote Autism Research awareness and raise funds for families in need of support. Coming together as a group creates a positive message for our company and staff.

This year's walk raised $244,507! This was just short of the $260.000 goal but still a huge win in the fight against autism. Our company participates in this walk annually and it is always such a positive event. We had 13 team members volunteer for team Rainbow Rising this year. We are all excited about next year's walk and having an even bigger turnout!

Walk to Defeat ALS

At this year’s Walk to Defeat ALS, Rainbow Rising raised $725 and had a total of 77 participants walking!

The ALS Association Orange County raised over $275,000 at this year’s walk!

In honor of Dave Ronningen, Rainbow Rising participates in an annual fundraiser for The ALS Association Orange County Chapter. Dave is the late father of our Assistant Director at RR Meadow Park, Hailee Ronningen. We are proud and honored to support Hailee and her Family.

Through this fundraiser, the children collect spare change for their teams to see who can bring in the most money. Along with the fundraiser, we do weekly activities to learn more about what ALS means and how to keep our bodies healthy and happy.  All donations go to ALS support groups, patient and family services and their equipment loan program for families who struggle financially.  Equipment such as hospital beds, power wheelchairs, scooters, canes, walkers, seat bench’s, manual wheelchairs, companion wheelchairs, ramps, grab bars for toilets, air mattresses and power lifts.

Irvine Junior Games 2019

The 2019 Irvine Junior Games was hosted at Irvine High School. The event supports over 10,000 children in IUSD. Rainbow Rising hosts a booth and donates a basket for every school we have. This year we donated over $3,000 to the Irvine Junior Games!

The annual track-and-field event is open to Irvine Unified School District students in grades 4 through 8, and is a key fundraising effort for the Irvine Children’s Fund, which provides scholarships for before- and after-school child care to low-income working families in the school district. For additional event and ticket information, visit irvinejuniorgames.org.

Families Forward Resource Fair

Sponsored by Families Forward, the 11th Annual Community Resource Fair is an easy and wonderful way for families and individuals to connect with local service agencies. These service agencies provide assistance with: free health screenings, career, legal, medical, financial and housing consultations. We spent the day making balloon animals, painting faces, and having the children create works of art at our booth. This event had over 70 local organizations providing free services and resources!

C.H.O.C. Rainbow Grams

For the month of February, Rainbow Rising hosted it's second annual Give a Heart, Save a Heart Valentine Day Gram fundraiser for C.H.O.C.. Each child that donated $5.00, received a Rainbow Gram on Valentine's Day. This consisted of a heart shaped card, personalized message from their families, carnation flower and a piece of candy.

100% of the proceeds go toward the Children's Hospital of Orange County. This year we raised $6,700.00!!! This event is held annually in honor of Emily Khoshnam and Brittany Osborne, both members of our Rainbow Rising family.

Paws Fur Pink 2019

This dog-friendly event partially benefits Susan G. Komen Orange County and National Canine Cancer Foundation and celebrates the unconditional love we share with our four-legged family members. Never underestimate the healing power of pets. Run, walk, or wag your way to better health while raising funds for breast cancer.

We raised a total of $650 with donations from staff and Rainbow Rising. We had tour largest team yet, consisting of 29 people!!! This included Rainbow Rising staff, family, friends, parents, and children of our program. Unfortunately they don't count our four-legged friends :)

Families Forward Thanksgiving 18

In 2018, Families Forward continues to support families in Orange County. Rainbow Rising is fortunate to lend our support on a special day where families are able to not only receive traditional Thanksgiving fixings to cook a meal at home but also receive other various services.

While parents pick up their baskets, their children participate in fun-filled activities such as face painting and arts & crafts. With community support, Families Forward is able to provide nearly 900 families with a special holiday meal to share with their loved ones.
